Mysterious nature "Trekking through virgin forest and groves of giant Japanese cedars (sugi) "

This superb tour visits Niigata University's research forest where numbers are limited to 16 trekkers per day. Our specialist guides will show you the virgin forest of gigantic sugi nurtured by the unique natural environment where some trees have a diameter of over 2m and others have been gnarled by wind and snow.

All courses include environmental conservation fees and numbers are limited to reduce the impact on the places visited.
