High in sodium, the water of the hot springs is slightly brown. As you soak in it, your skin becomes nice and smooth.
The rooms are Japanese style, but the bathrooms are western style. Most Japanese inns use plant names for their rooms, but this hotel uses names of fish. This room is called "mebaru" or rockfish.
