Dramatic nighttime cherry blossoms Lit up at Sado Gold Mine
Sado Gold Mine is also home to the largest number of cherry blossoms on Sado Island. The best time to see them is around mid-April, when the spring tourist season begins. The rows of cherry trees in full bloom are spectacularly illuminated, enchanting visitors. With the historic buildings of the Sado Gold Mine in the background, the floating cherry blossoms create a fantastical scene unique to Sado Island.
