Sado International Triathlon

Set across the entire island of Sado, this event features multiple courses and boasts a field of approximately 2,000 participants. Runners gather not only from all over Japan but also from overseas.The Type A (Long) course covers nearly the entire circumference of Sado Island and is the longest in Japan. With a total of 5,000 volunteers supporting the event, cheering crowds lining the route, and a “No-Car Day,” Sado is completely immersed in the spirit of the triathlon all day long.
