Sawasakibana Lighthouse stands on the western edge of Sado Island. The "tarai boats" lined up on the shore give the village an atmosphere typical of Ogi Beach. A large lion makes an appearance at the festival. He walks to 27 houses in the village from late afternoon to early evening. Demons called "gotsu" also appear here and there in the village, chasing children.
