At the Sadokoku Aikawa Hina Dolls Festival, private households, shops and hotels in Aikawa display their own hina dolls, and related objects, for the public. The city of Aikawa flourished along with the development of Sado's gold mine. Venues for viewing the dolls add up to fifty, and the objects on display include many traditional, or historical and valuable items.
