Yuzuru is a restaurant located in the Sado Rekishi Densetsukan. The restaurant is built so it looks like it floats on a pond, where you can enjoy an elegant dining experience whilst viewing swimming carps and the Japanese garden. They are proud of dishes made from fresh seafood, especially their kaisendon, a bowl of rice with sumptuous toppings of seasonal seafood, is filling and recommended. Sushi Uohide is located in front of Sado Kisen's Ryotsu Ferry Terminal. The owner/chef wholeheartedly crafts sushi with Sado-grown Koshihikari rice and toppings purchased from auctions at the Ryotsu Market. The chief draw is "Sado's Local Fish Nigiri Sushi Set," hand-crafted with seven toppings from the day's best catch. The signature item at Sushi Uohide is a creative one: "Sushi with Squid Innards." Squid innards are used instead of wasabi. This dish has an exquisite balance of flavours and is truly a masterpiece of hand-crafted sushi.

Okesa is a restaurant specializing in Sanuki udon noodles hand-kneaded by the owner/chef, a native of Kagawa Prefecture, which is the birthplace of Sanuki udon noodles. Sanuki udon noodles feature a distinctively firm, chewy texture. The noodles are made from 100% Japan-grown wheat flour, and served in a special broth, which is made from grilled mackerel and bonito flakes, simmered for one hour every morning. Okesa offers set menus with udon noodles and rice dishes, and the menu changes according to the seasons. Okesa also provide three labels of Sado-produced Japanese sake. The menu has a range of tidbits, too, and the hand-kneaded pizza is gaining huge popularity.

The Enman restaurant specialises in chargrilled skewers, expressing their passion and determination towards handmade dishes. Chobokuri
In Hamochi, "Osaki Soba no Kai" takes place several times a year, where you can enjoy local specialty dishes and hand-kneaded soba (buckwheat noodles), as well as traditional performing arts, attracting many fans throughout Japan. Chobokuri was opened in 2007 by the organising group of Osaki Soba no Kai. Here you can have a simple, but delightful treat of soba noodles made from 100% stone-ground buckwheat all year round. Seeking soba noodles soaked in flying fish based broth, soba lovers visit Chobokuri both from within and beyond Sado. The interior of a quaint Japanese-style house is also a highlight of Chobokuri. The restaurant's name derives from a traditional performing art in the Osaki area, which is performed at Osaki Soba no Kai.

Nacchan has an established reputation for its fresh, seasonal seafood purchased at the market, and delicious nibbles. Bento box meals and catering services also enjoy popularity. Nacchan offers an all-chuhai-you-can-drink deal (chuhai are mixed drinks with shochu, Japanese distilled spirits) between 17:00-22:00 (valid for two hours).
