- Sadoichi Circular Course around Sado Island (210km)
This is one of the most difficult long ride courses on Sado Island, and one of the longest circumnavigation routes in Japan. Starting from Ryotsu Port, the route passes through Shukunegi in the town of Ogi, which flourished as a Kitamae-bune port of call for merchant ships, and around the Kosado area where you can see floating tub boats, before taking a rest at Sawada in the city center. After that, you will head for the highlight of the Sadoichi tour, a circular trip around Sado Island. The tour can be completed in one day (even a relatively fast person will take about 12 hours including rest stops), but we recommend that you stay overnight in the Sawata or Aikawa areas and complete the tour over two days.
