Nestled between the scenic spots of Onogame and Futatsugame, Minshuku Sankeikan is situated in the Negai village, known for Sai no Kawara, a spot considered to be a bank area of a river which flows between heaven and hell, where deceased children go and play building small stone towers. All rooms have a sea view, and Futatsugame is right in front of your eyes. Dishes centering on fresh seafood and seaweed freshly caught by the Master add colour to your table. Especially Sado's specialty kamenote (Japanese goose barnacles) and ginbaso seaweed are classic menu items for dinner and go well with Japanese sake. The brilliant setting sun is a must-see.

The inn serves fish caught with a fish trap and seafood caught with bag-shaped nets, caught by the Country House owner himself, home-grown Koshihikari rice, mountain vegetables, and delights the palate with simple local flavours. A walk along the seaside from the village will lead you to Sai no Kawara, where you will find Jizo ( stone statues of Bodhisattva) in various sizes and stone towers (sai no kawara is a spot considered to be a bank of a river which flows between heaven and hell, where deceased children go and play building small stone towers). The scenic spots, Futatsugame and Onogame, are also in proximity.

Along the walking path connecting the unique rock outcrops of Onogame and Futatsugame, a ten-minute walk from the Negai village will lead you to Sai-no-Kawara. In a marine cave, countless stone Jizo (the guardian deity of children) statues stand still, centred around Jizo Bosatsu. Sai-no-Kawara is considered to be the bank area of a river, which flows at the boundary of life and the afterlife. It is where the spirits of deceased children are thought to go, and it has been a sacred space since the olden days.

Onogame Lodge is conveniently close to the Onogame monolith. The menu options include classic dishes including set menus prepared from local ingredients, curry with rice, and noodles. Highlights include Kaisendon (bowl of rice with seafood toppings). Kaisendon is packed full of seafood, which the owner of the restaurant catches himself. Choose your seat first, and place your order at the counter. There is also outdoor seating on a deck to the front. Enjoy your lunch in this exceptional location, whilst marvelling at Onogame.

Using an abundance of seasonal island produce and incorporating knowledge of medicinal herbs, we offer a menu that is sure to please the body. The restaurant was established by a couple who moved to Mushizaki, which used to be a marginal community with a population of 17. Please enjoy the local tourism that can be enjoyed only in a small community.

The vast expanse of the sea spreads out before your eyes while behind you stands a backdrop of mountains encasing ancient cedars. Here you can enjoy fishing, sea-bathing and trekking as much as you like. A French cuisine chef, the master offers both French food and makes superb use of locally-sourced ingredients to provide a traditional taste of Sado. The sights and sounds of nature are an absolute delight: breezes blowing through the garden, fireflies flying around, crashing waves, and chirping birds.

Ryoso Minato takes pride in its sea front location, and meals packed full of seafood caught with bag-shaped nets and caught at Takachi Fishing Port. You can enjoy a specialty dish "Ika Somen (literally "squid noodles": fine strips of fresh squid) served with home-made sauce at the restaurant on site. Nyuzaki Beach is located at a 5-minute walk from the inn, where you can enjoy camping and barbecue. The inn is also located close to the Ishige trekking route, and the entry point to the Sado natural cedar trees route. You can simultaneously enjoy the mountains and the sea to your satisfaction.
