Casual Eatery Chinese Ramen Noodles
Daimaru Ramen (Chinese noodles)
Daimaru Ramen serves healthy ramen noodles prepared by an all-female staff. These noodles are gaining popularity with people of all ages. Aiming for locavore palates, all ingredients are organic and cooked without additives. One of the best menu items is "Shiromiso Ramen", which is prepared with a soup base made from Sado-produced white bean paste, and it has a rich, yet refreshing, delicate flavour. The chashu (pork) baked every day has a tender, melt-in-the-mouth texture. Gyoza dumpings to-go are also popular.

Ramen and Yakiniku Tarafuku
At Tarafuku, you can enjoy a popular selection of menu items in a relaxing atmosphere, varying from yakiniku (Japanese-style barbeque) and Chinese ramen noodles to hot pot with offal and stewed beef tendon. Tarafuku boasts an ample variety of yakiniku dishes, such as Rosu (loin), Karubi (ribeye), and Horumon (entrails) that satisfy meat lovers. Unique variations of Chinese ramen noodles, such as Asari (clam) Ramen and Mentai (spicy cod roe) Ramen are also beloved menu items. They provide a small table-top grill, so you can enjoy a yakiniku experience alone as well.
As the authentic Kansai-style okonomiyaki can be enjoyed for casual occasions, Koume gains a gathering of families and high school students who commute to school in the neighbourhood. It offers a choice of about twenty kinds of okonomiyaki, ranging from healthy options to heavier options. The top recommendation is a basic okonomiyaki with pork and egg. Also recommended is a classic menu item, which is the deluxe "mix" okonomiyaki with squid, shrimps, and scallops. The menu has a selection of items other than okonomiyaki, such as yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), takoyaki (savory balls with octopus), and monjayaki (crispy grilled runny pancake).
