Minshuku Shikishimaso
Shikishimaso serves all-natural seafood, varying from fish caught by the inn's fishing boat, to seafood sourced from Inakujira Fishing Port or Ryotsu Market. Shikishimaso is confident in the quality of the food they provide. Nature activities at the sea in front of the inn are popular among guests. Shikishimaso also has great access to tourist attractions such as Sado Kinzan Gold Mine and Senkakuwan Bay, just 20-30 minutes away. Minshuku Takayama
Minshuku Takayama is situated behind Shukunegi Post Office in the Takayama area of Shukunegi. Here, you can enjoy delicacies from the sea, such as turban shellfish and abalones, etc. which the master, who is a fisherman himself, catches in a traditional manner on a tub boat. Minshuku Takayama takes pride in hand-kneaded soba (buckwheat) noodles, and they enjoy immense popularity. Guests sometimes enjoy talking and drinking together gathered around the sunken hearth in the lounge. A bottle of Japanese sake (Hokusetsu Kinboshi), bearing Takayama's original label on its bottle, is a perfect souvenir.

Minshuku Taniguchiso
Minshuku Taniguchiso is situated on the Sotokaifu Coast, near Hanezaka, the most challenging part of the road that runs around Sado Island. Nicknamed "Z-zaka (slope)," this area is familiar with cycling enthusiasts and a part of the Sado's Ironman/woman Triathlon course. This B&B provides meals packed full of delicious ingredients such as fresh seafood delivered by local fishermen, blessings of clear streams, and seasonal riches of the soil. The inn is located at Iwayaguchi, which is the first and last bus stop of the Kaifu Line bus service. As Minshuku Taniguchiso also sells drinks, please do not hesitate to drop in for a beverage.

Niibo Katagami Onsen (hot spring)
With a history of 800 years, Niibo Katagami Onsen is rumored to have been frequented by Emperor Juntoku in the 13th century. Onsen bathing in this area is said to have originated when a samurai warrior tried using the water after he saw a white heron (or toki, as some people claim) treat its injuries at the onsen. Known as "the waters with healing properties," Niibo Katagami Onsen is frequented affectionately by many local people.

This campground is set adjacent to Nyuzaki Sea-bathing Beach, which features a fine gravel beach and crystal clear waters. You cannot drive into the campsite, but there is a free parking lot. With the attractive variety of landforms, this spot is not limited to just swimming and camping, you can enjoy exploring the seaside and fishing at the rocky shore, too. This campground is spacious, but there is little shade to provide shelter from the sun, so be sure to protect yourself from sunburn.

Sado Onsen Hot Spring: Ogi-no-Yu
A five-minute car ride from Ogi Port, Ogi-no-Yu is located on a hill with easy access to the town center. From the window facing the Sea of Japan, you can see the sun rise over the sea, right in front of your eyes. This inn, with its own hot spring spa, provides an opportunity to see the two ports of Ogi at the same time, a view that is only available here. One port is Uchinoma (the inside inlet), which flourished as a sengokubune (wooden freight ship) port of call when gold was being shipped in the Edo Period (1603-1867), and the other is Ogi Port, also called Sotonoma (the outside inlet). The hot spring has a pH of 9.54 (without dilution), with a high alkaline content. The texture enchants many people with its reputed skin-beautifying effects. Other attractions on the premises are a restaurant that serves fresh local produce, and lodgings with the warm atmosphere of wood.

Perched on elevated ground 100 meters from the coastline, Kyukamura Sado Caravan Site is located on Seki Cape, with the azure Sea of Japan in front and the Osado Mountain Range in back. The Seki community, down the road from the campsite, is one of the entrances for the trekking route through the pristine forest known for its ancient cedars. This campsite guarantees a stunning view of the great landscape of Sotokaifu: the sun setting over the Sea of Japan, the fires lit on the boats to lure fish at night, and the starry night skies.
