Shikishimaso serves all-natural seafood, varying from fish caught by the inn's fishing boat, to seafood sourced from Inakujira Fishing Port or Ryotsu Market. Shikishimaso is confident in the quality of the food they provide. Nature activities at the sea in front of the inn are popular among guests. Shikishimaso also has great access to tourist attractions such as Sado Kinzan Gold Mine and Senkakuwan Bay, just 20-30 minutes away. Shikishimaso houses 29 guestrooms, and large banquet rooms of approximately 100㎡ and 130㎡, and can accommodate a large group of guests for school trips, or other group tours and excursions.

Facing Nagate Cape, a landmark at Nanaura Coast, Minshuku Shiosai is conveniently located for sightseeing in Aikawa. You will be treated with freshly caught seaweed and seafood, and home-grown Koshihikari rice. Just a 2-3 minute walk to the seashore with numerous rocky spots, Minshuku Shiosai is a perfect base for fishing from shore. Minshuku Shiosai also provides services to hire a fishing boat, and the haul can be made into sashimi or cooked by grilling and/or simmering.

Minshuku Takayama is situated behind Shukunegi Post Office in the Takayama area of Shukunegi. Here, you can enjoy delicacies from the sea, such as turban shellfish and abalones, etc. which the master, who is a fisherman himself, catches in a traditional manner on a tub boat. Minshuku Takayama takes pride in hand-kneaded soba (buckwheat) noodles, and they enjoy immense popularity. Guests sometimes enjoy talking and drinking together gathered around the sunken hearth in the lounge. A bottle of Japanese sake (Hokusetsu Kinboshi), bearing Takayama's original label on its bottle, is a perfect souvenir.

Located on the heights of the Aikawa Oura area, Minshuku Takimoto overlooks the scenic site of Nanaura Coast. In this excellent, secluded location, you can have the beach (accessible from the inn on foot) almost to yourself. The area around the inn is ideal for boat riding and sea fishing, as well as, rocky shore exploration, and sea bathing in summer. Minshuku Taniguchiso is situated on the Sotokaifu Coast, near Hanezaka, the most challenging part of the road that runs around Sado Island. Nicknamed "Z-zaka (slope)," this area is familiar with cycling enthusiasts and a part of the Sado's Ironman/woman Triathlon course. This B&B provides meals packed full of delicious ingredients such as fresh seafood delivered by local fishermen, blessings of clear streams, and seasonal riches of the soil. The inn is located at Iwayaguchi, which is the first and last bus stop of the Kaifu Line bus service. As Minshuku Taniguchiso also sells drinks, please do not hesitate to drop in for a beverage.

Guesthouse Tokaen is located at the centre of Sado, close to Sado City Hall and Sado General Hospital, which are 5 minutes by car from the inn. The accommodation is situated along Osado Skyline, which leads to Hakuundai viewing point from Route 350. It has a spacious parking area that can accommodate more than 10 cars. Tokaen provides delicious Sado-produced seafood and the riches of the soil, and is fastidious about using safe, organic seasoning. The inn also provides dishes using home-made, local and safe ingredients. The view and atmosphere of the sunset at Nakajimaya Ryokan is exceptional.

Nakazawaya Ryokan has a long history of over 100 years in the Sawata area. Just a 10-minute drive from the Niibo town centre, Niibo Dam Campsite is a free camping area close to the Niibo Dam. 2,000 cherry blossom trees are planted on the outskirts, and you can look out onto the lush forest over the dam. With many tourist attractions such as Toki Forest Park nearby, the location in the heart of Sado is a perfect base for you to explore Sado. Please take your own litter home.

With a history of 800 years, Niibo Katagami Onsen is rumored to have been frequented by Emperor Juntoku in the 13th century. Onsen bathing in this area is said to have originated when a samurai warrior tried using the water after he saw a white heron (or toki, as some people claim) treat its injuries at the onsen. Known as "the waters with healing properties," Niibo Katagami Onsen is frequented affectionately by many local people.

This campground is set adjacent to Nyuzaki Sea-bathing Beach, which features a fine gravel beach and crystal clear waters. You cannot drive into the campsite, but there is a free parking lot. With the attractive variety of landforms, this spot is not limited to just swimming and camping, you can enjoy exploring the seaside and fishing at the rocky shore, too. This campground is spacious, but there is little shade to provide shelter from the sun, so be sure to protect yourself from sunburn.

Ogi Diving School is a clubhouse and home for divers, situated on an inlet with crystal clear water in Kotoura. It takes just 1 minute on foot to the ship departure point for diving sites. You can also go on an adventure in the mysterious caves in Kotoura. Please relax and unwind yourself at nearby onsen hot spring Ogi no Yu after a day of diving. Guests can have a great time together while eating dishes made from locally-sourced ingredients.

Kamomeso is situated in a lush, green area, where the chirpings of little birds delight your ears. Just one step in from the entrance, you will find a space like a modern art gallery. Kamomeso proudly provides hot spring baths with a continuous flow of hot spa waters, and dishes prepared with fresh seafood, landed at the local fishing port. Oiya Ryokan is just 5-minutes on foot from Sado Kisen Akadomari Ferry Terminal. Frank and chatty Okami (the female manager) will give you a warm welcome. With 300-year-old pine trees, a skylight on the ceiling, and amber-colored corridors, traditions are kept alive here and there in this wooden-structured inn built in the Taisho Period (1912-1926). Oiya Ryokan is an inn which puts passion into its meals. Dishes prepared with shrimps and crabs caught in Akadomari are the main reason for its popularity.

Onogameso welcomes tourists who love to fish or sea-bathe, and provides the comfortable atmosphere of a family home. The inn serves fish caught with a fish trap and seafood caught with bag-shaped nets, caught by the Country House owner himself, home-grown Koshihikari rice, mountain vegetables, and delights the palate with simple local flavours. A walk along the seaside from the village will lead you to Sai no Kawara, where you will find Jizo ( stone statues of Bodhisattva) in various sizes and stone towers (sai no kawara is a spot considered to be a bank of a river which flows between heaven and hell, where deceased children go and play building small stone towers). The scenic spots, Futatsugame and Onogame, are also in proximity.

Takaraya is situated Ogi's Shopping Street, where you can enjoy a stroll around a town with retro flavours. Treat yourself to handmade dishes made with local ingredients centering around fresh seafood. Takaraya is where Koyo Ozaki, a renowned novelist, stayed, and still attracting literature lovers. Located very close to Ogi Port, Takaraya is a popular base for tub boat rides and exploration in Shukunegi. You can enjoy meals in a private room in comfort.

Pension Nagakura is a family-run pension located close to tourist attractions such as Mano Imperial Mausoleum, Sado Rekishi Densetsukan ( history museum), and a sake brewery. Ryokan Kiyose is a family-run inn famous for the staff's exceptional efforts to meet every guest's needs. Behind the inn lies Sawane Fishing Port. The inn prides in their dishes with seafood caught fresh on the day. The inn is conveniently located in the Sawane area, halfway in between Sawata and Aikawa, and is a perfect place for both sightseeing and business. Sawane Fishing Port has an established reputation as a great fishing spot with an abundance of catch. There is a fish tackle shop nearby, and many fishers visit for fishing.

Ryoso Saka is a Japanese-style bed and breakfast run by a fisherman, standing in front of Suizu Fishing Port. Fascinating is the traditional atmosphere of a fisherman's house, with a central pillar which has been supporting the house structure for over 100 years, paper doors and sea chests. There is a bathing beach equipped with facilities for camping, and the beach enjoys a great crowd every year.

Established over 50 years ago, Sado Belle Mer Youth Hostel stands in an open landscape near the Himezu Ohashi bridge. You can enjoy scuba diving in the sea right in front of the hostel. Sado Belle Mer Youth Hostel is popular as a base for sea and river fishing, too. Located close to the Aikawa city centre, the hostel is just about 10 minutes by car from Sado Kinzan gold mine. In addition to the reasonable prices and the homey hospitality, meals prepared with the rich harvest of the sea and mountains have established this hostel's popularity.

All rooms have a sea view, overlooking Futatsugame, massive offshore outcrops named for what they resemble: two turtles. The view from the lounge and large bathing rooms are also breathtaking. Initially started as a restaurant in the Ansei Era of the Edo Period (1854-60), Yoshidaya is now a long-established Japanese-style inn with a hot spa drawing from the thermal waters of Sado Kamoko Onsen's hot springs. Seasonally scenic views over Lake Kamo and the Osado Mountains, as well as the view at dusk from an open-air bath fed with natural thermal waters continuously flowing from the source, are sights to behold. Multi-course dinners of Japanese cuisine feature Sado's seafood, and our uncompromising attitude toward nourishment, passed down from the time of its foundation, adds color to your table.

A five-minute car ride from Ogi Port, Ogi-no-Yu is located on a hill with easy access to the town center. From the window facing the Sea of Japan, you can see the sun rise over the sea, right in front of your eyes. This inn, with its own hot spring spa, provides an opportunity to see the two ports of Ogi at the same time, a view that is only available here. One port is Uchinoma (the inside inlet), which flourished as a sengokubune (wooden freight ship) port of call when gold was being shipped in the Edo Period (1603-1867), and the other is Ogi Port, also called Sotonoma (the outside inlet). The hot spring has a pH of 9.54 (without dilution), with a high alkaline content. The texture enchants many people with its reputed skin-beautifying effects. Other attractions on the premises are a restaurant that serves fresh local produce, and lodgings with the warm atmosphere of wood.

Azuma Yubae-tei Kaiyo-tei was established as "Azuma", a Japanese cuisine restaurant, in Haneda, Aikawa, in 1925. Located at the western-most point in the northern Sado mountains, Azuma Yubae-tei Kaiyo-tei has been valued as the place "closest to the setting sun". Guest rooms and a large bathroom overlooking Nanaura Coast have a spectacular view of the setting sun. A large, 23,500㎡ lawn garden features a stone tablet carved with a haiku poem written by the famous poet, Seishi Yamaguchi, during his stay here, and an old burial ground. A stroll along the promenade leads to the seashore. Popular for its private outdoor bath and rooms with individual outdoor baths, Azuma Yubae-tei Kaiyo-tei is a long-established hotel with specialty dishes, standing on the heights of a quasi-national park.

Sobama Seaside Villa are holiday cottages to rent dotted on Sobama Coast with a long sandy beach. All of 11 cottages has a sea view. Dining at an open terrace is popular among guests. You can shop groceries and snacks at shopping street in Ogi. Perched on elevated ground 100 meters from the coastline, Kyukamura Sado Caravan Site is located on Seki Cape, with the azure Sea of Japan in front and the Osado Mountain Range in back. The Seki community, down the road from the campsite, is one of the entrances for the trekking route through the pristine forest known for its ancient cedars. This campsite guarantees a stunning view of the great landscape of Sotokaifu: the sun setting over the Sea of Japan, the fires lit on the boats to lure fish at night, and the starry night skies.
