While still limited, some stores and restaurants on Sado Island have embraced digital transactions through cashless payment apps. Though most services offered are limited to domestic apps, for those traveling from overseas from China, Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines, the following cashless payment apps can be used at stores where PayPay is available.
