Nagahamaso is a guest house located on the way to Ogi along the sea from Mano. It is in a great location with Mano Bay as its backdrop. Its changing menu reflects the day's catch and enjoys a good reputation. Ask about the economy-package for business use. The attached restaurant features a large fish tank that keeps abalones, turban shellfish, flatfish, and so on, alive! Lunch and dinner are served for both guests and non-guests.

Hananoki Inn is housed in a 150-year old Japanese house transferred and reassembled on about 3,300㎡ of land. Hananoki stands calmly in the borrowed scenery of mountains, where Buddha statues carved into rock, and the huge Kofuku Jizo statue act as backdrops. Repeat customers return for the wholeheartedly prepared dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The inn has, on the premises, a pottery factory of the inn's master, Tosei Watanabe. The inn also hosts concerts with unique programming.

Ryoso Minato takes pride in its sea front location, and meals packed full of seafood caught with bag-shaped nets and caught at Takachi Fishing Port. You can enjoy a specialty dish "Ika Somen (literally "squid noodles": fine strips of fresh squid) served with home-made sauce at the restaurant on site. Nyuzaki Beach is located at a 5-minute walk from the inn, where you can enjoy camping and barbecue. The inn is also located close to the Ishige trekking route, and the entry point to the Sado natural cedar trees route. You can simultaneously enjoy the mountains and the sea to your satisfaction.

Shiozu no Sato stands on open ground in the heights overlooking Mano Bay. It has a spacious front garden where you can enjoy camping or a barbecue, and is ideal for school trips, sports training camps, and other excursions. In addition, Shiozu no Sato offers opportunities for a variety of activities on the themes of food and marine leisure, including noroma puppet painting, and stonework, among others. The vast expanse of the sea spreads out before your eyes while behind you stands a backdrop of mountains encasing ancient cedars. A French cuisine chef, the master offers both French food and makes superb use of locally-sourced ingredients to provide a traditional taste of Sado. The Masaragawa area is known for the Kaifu Ohashi bridge over the Ozare River strath. The unparalleled view over the sea of Sotokaifu is stunning. Inside Guesthouse Hayashiso, prints of large fish including yellowtail amberjack, red seabream, black porgy, etc. are displayed, and the inn is famous among fishers coming from the outside of Sado. The owner, who is a fisherman, will take you off-shore by a fishing boat (for a charge) , where he will grill your catch or serve it as sashimi.

Having opened in the spring of 2016 in the Kanai area, Yadoya Fukuro is still a new accommodation. It is ideally located in the heart of Sado, convenient for sightseeing and business. All rooms are equipped with a bath, a toilet, a television and a fridge. There is also a washing machine and a dryer in the lobby, so it is perfect for long-term stays, too. Minshuku Takayama is situated behind Shukunegi Post Office in the Takayama area of Shukunegi. Here, you can enjoy delicacies from the sea, such as turban shellfish and abalones, etc. which the master, who is a fisherman himself, catches in a traditional manner on a tub boat. Minshuku Takayama takes pride in hand-kneaded soba (buckwheat) noodles, and they enjoy immense popularity. Guests sometimes enjoy talking and drinking together gathered around the sunken hearth in the lounge. A bottle of Japanese sake (Hokusetsu Kinboshi), bearing Takayama's original label on its bottle, is a perfect souvenir.

Fusubemura is a hands-on learning centre located in Kodomari, with an accommodation available on-site. One cottage contains a dining room, living room and bedrooms for five people, and this is perfect for families and groups of friends. While staying in the spacious centre, you can enjoy making your original pieces of work in workshops including classes for pottery, rag-weaving, bamboo craft, etc. The surrounding natural environment such as Sobama Bathing Beach is also fascinating.

Guesthouse Matashichi sits on an alleyway leading to Yajima and Kyojima with its own distinctive atmosphere. You can enjoy the fantastic combination of home-grown rice and vegetables, and the fresh seafood to your satisfaction, including turban shellfish and seasonal fish grilled at the Japanese style hearth by the Okami mistress, and fresh sashimi. Ryokan Futatsugameso is in a great location, incorporating Futatsugame, a clustor of massive offshore outcrops named for what they resemble, two turtles, into their garden landscape. Futatsugame Bathing Beach is right in front of the hotel, where the water is the clearest in Sado. This is an inn run by a parent and child, who are both fishermen, and fresh seafood including sea bream, flatfish, and turban shells caught with their fixed net and gill net, are served for dinner. The setting sun colouring the sea and fantastic fire lit on boats to lure fish at night add a unique experience to your travels.

Toki Koryu Kaikan is a facility with lodging rooms established to promote the "Island Development for Both People and Toki" initiative. With forests behind, Toki Koryu Kaikan provides training programmes to learn about the preservation of farming landscapes near mountains. It can also cater to the demands of volunteer groups and school trips, and offers study sessions such as "A Lecture on Toki" and "Biotope-Making and Small Wildlife Creatures Observation." Rubber boots and other tools are available for rent for session participants and students.

Guest House Third Place is an accommodation run on the concept of slow living surrounded by the woods, which evoke a sense of being showered by nature's power. Donden Sanso, situated right in the middle of the traverse course on Osado Mountains, has been loved by hikers and tourists who visit Osado Mountains such as Mt Donden, one of the Top 100 Mountains with Flowers in Japan. Seafood, riches of the soil special to Sado, and delicious rice are popular among visitors. The view from the deck is stunning, and you can look out to the mountain ranges in Echigo on the mainland when the weather is clear. Sunrise and starry night skies are also fantastic.

Magoshiro is a cottage-style lodge located within a designated important preservation area for traditional buildings and architecture. The building has wooden walls and a historical atmosphere, with the living room built using a traditional Japanese house style. You can relax and unwind as you drink and chat with your friends or family around the Japanese style hearth. The inn has three Japanese-style rooms and a cellar converted into a special room, which offers a unique atmosphere and is available for group use. Magoshiro only provides packages without meals, but delivery service is available from neighbourhood restaurants. The building is equipped with a self-catering kitchen.

YOSABEI is located in the Kuninaka Plain, a location facing mountains and rich nature, and where life with clean water streaming from Mt. Kinpoku can be enjoyed. YOSABEI is an old house converted into an inn by Karl Bengs, an Architecture Designer who has an extensive track record of old house revival projects in Japan. Take a break in a space where it feels as if time has stopped flowing, surrounded by organic vegetable farms and herb gardens; where you can enjoy a breakfast of Sado rice slowly cooked over a fire, and other Sado-produced ingredients.

Shikishimaso serves all-natural seafood, varying from fish caught by the inn's fishing boat, to seafood sourced from Inakujira Fishing Port or Ryotsu Market. Shikishimaso is confident in the quality of the food they provide. Nature activities at the sea in front of the inn are popular among guests. Shikishimaso also has great access to tourist attractions such as Sado Kinzan Gold Mine and Senkakuwan Bay, just 20-30 minutes away. Shikishimaso houses 29 guestrooms, and large banquet rooms of approximately 100㎡ and 130㎡, and can accommodate a large group of guests for school trips, or other group tours and excursions.

The perfect base for a walking tour, Sashu Oyarikan was established after repairing a historical accommodation named Sashukan, where celebrities, like famous writers, once stayed. Isaburo's Residence, known as the house with a unique eave decoration, has opened its doors to the public as an accommodation. The old house of a Sengokubune captain, built in 1892, it is now available for use with its interior in the original format. You can feel a sense of history everywhere in the building, with fan-shaped eave decorations, glossy, amber coloured flooring planks, sooked walls, and lacquered beams and cupboards. You'll enjoy exclusive use of the property during your stay. Isaburo's offers a bed-only package, but the building is fully equipped with a self-catering kitchen.

LOHAS inn Koganeso is located in the Hatano area in the Kuninaka Plain at the heart of Sado. You will be welcomed by the lush nature and delicious fruits of the ground and the sea unique to Sado. Ryoso Saka is a Japanese-style bed and breakfast run by a fisherman, standing in front of Suizu Fishing Port. You may enjoy well-established fish dishes and home-grown vegetables and rice, and when spring comes, a variety of mountain vegetables are also served. Fascinating is the traditional atmosphere of a fisherman's house, with a central pillar which has been supporting the house structure for over 100 years, paper doors and sea chests. There is a bathing beach equipped with facilities for camping, and the beach enjoys a great crowd every year.

Sobama Seaside Villa are holiday cottages to rent dotted on Sobama Coast with a long sandy beach. All of 11 cottages has a sea view. Dining at an open terrace is popular among guests. You can shop groceries and snacks at shopping street in Ogi. Optional DIY barbecue catering, assorted sashimi, and rental beer server service, all of which are available upon reservation, has good reputation. The setting sun seen from the swimming pool or jacuzzi will stay memorable.

Sado Sotokaifu Youth Hostel is situated in front of Iwayaguchi Bus Stop. Magnificent mountains extending along a stream appear in the background, surrounding the area in natural beauty. Andante is an inn run by grape growers who moved to Sado Island in 2015 to start winemaking.
