Ryoso Minato takes pride in its sea front location, and meals packed full of seafood caught with bag-shaped nets and caught at Takachi Fishing Port. You can enjoy a specialty dish "Ika Somen (literally "squid noodles": fine strips of fresh squid) served with home-made sauce at the restaurant on site. Nyuzaki Beach is located at a 5-minute walk from the inn, where you can enjoy camping and barbecue. The inn is also located close to the Ishige trekking route, and the entry point to the Sado natural cedar trees route. You can simultaneously enjoy the mountains and the sea to your satisfaction.

Nagahamaso is a guest house located on the way to Ogi along the sea from Mano. It is in a great location with Mano Bay as its backdrop. Its changing menu reflects the day's catch and enjoys a good reputation. Ask about the economy-package for business use. The attached restaurant features a large fish tank that keeps abalones, turban shellfish, flatfish, and so on, alive! Lunch and dinner are served for both guests and non-guests.

Hananoki Inn is housed in a 150-year old Japanese house transferred and reassembled on about 3,300㎡ of land. Hananoki stands calmly in the borrowed scenery of mountains, where Buddha statues carved into rock, and the huge Kofuku Jizo statue act as backdrops. Repeat customers return for the wholeheartedly prepared dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The inn has, on the premises, a pottery factory of the inn's master, Tosei Watanabe. The inn also hosts concerts with unique programming.

The Masaragawa area is known for the Kaifu Ohashi bridge over the Ozare River strath. The unparalleled view over the sea of Sotokaifu is stunning. Inside Guesthouse Hayashiso, prints of large fish including yellowtail amberjack, red seabream, black porgy, etc. are displayed, and the inn is famous among fishers coming from the outside of Sado. The owner, who is a fisherman, will take you off-shore by a fishing boat (for a charge) , where he will grill your catch or serve it as sashimi.

Shiozu no Sato stands on open ground in the heights overlooking Mano Bay. It has a spacious front garden where you can enjoy camping or a barbecue, and is ideal for school trips, sports training camps, and other excursions. Ryokan Futatsugameso is in a great location, incorporating Futatsugame, a clustor of massive offshore outcrops named for what they resemble, two turtles, into their garden landscape. Futatsugame Bathing Beach is right in front of the hotel, where the water is the clearest in Sado. This is an inn run by a parent and child, who are both fishermen, and fresh seafood including sea bream, flatfish, and turban shells caught with their fixed net and gill net, are served for dinner. The setting sun colouring the sea and fantastic fire lit on boats to lure fish at night add a unique experience to your travels.

The vast expanse of the sea spreads out before your eyes while behind you stands a backdrop of mountains encasing ancient cedars. Here you can enjoy fishing, sea-bathing and trekking as much as you like. A French cuisine chef, the master offers both French food and makes superb use of locally-sourced ingredients to provide a traditional taste of Sado. The sights and sounds of nature are an absolute delight: breezes blowing through the garden, fireflies flying around, crashing waves, and chirping birds.

The perfect base for a walking tour, Sashu Oyarikan was established after repairing a historical accommodation named Sashukan, where celebrities, like famous writers, once stayed. Oyari means "take it easy" in the Aikawa dialect. Sashu Oyarikan has a lounge, exhibition rooms and public restrooms on the first floor, so please feel free to visit us. The second floor is designed for simple lodging for students (18-years-old and up) and is available for training camps, study trips and seminars.

Minshuku Takayama is situated behind Shukunegi Post Office in the Takayama area of Shukunegi. Here, you can enjoy delicacies from the sea, such as turban shellfish and abalones, etc. which the master, who is a fisherman himself, catches in a traditional manner on a tub boat. Minshuku Takayama takes pride in hand-kneaded soba (buckwheat) noodles, and they enjoy immense popularity. Guests sometimes enjoy talking and drinking together gathered around the sunken hearth in the lounge. A bottle of Japanese sake (Hokusetsu Kinboshi), bearing Takayama's original label on its bottle, is a perfect souvenir.

Guesthouse Matashichi sits on an alleyway leading to Yajima and Kyojima with its own distinctive atmosphere. You can enjoy the fantastic combination of home-grown rice and vegetables, and the fresh seafood to your satisfaction, including turban shellfish and seasonal fish grilled at the Japanese style hearth by the Okami mistress, and fresh sashimi. Situated in the heart of the Aikawa, Asahiso has been loved as a good base for leisurely sight-seeing (such as a downtown stroll), sea bathing, camping and fishing. With its central location, Asahiso is close to great scenic spots like Senkakuwan Bay and the Nanaura Kaigan coast, and only 10-minutes by car from Sado Kinzan Gold Mine. Fully satisfied with the seasonal dishes made by the Okami female manager, Asahiso boasts many repeat customers!

Fusubemura is a hands-on learning centre located in Kodomari, with an accommodation available on-site. One cottage contains a dining room, living room and bedrooms for five people, and this is perfect for families and groups of friends. While staying in the spacious centre, you can enjoy making your original pieces of work in workshops including classes for pottery, rag-weaving, bamboo craft, etc. The surrounding natural environment such as Sobama Bathing Beach is also fascinating.

Guesthouse Yamamotoso is an inn located in the Washizaki area, the northernmost part of Sado Island. Toki Koryu Kaikan is a facility with lodging rooms established to promote the "Island Development for Both People and Toki" initiative. With forests behind, Toki Koryu Kaikan provides training programmes to learn about the preservation of farming landscapes near mountains. It can also cater to the demands of volunteer groups and school trips, and offers study sessions such as "A Lecture on Toki" and "Biotope-Making and Small Wildlife Creatures Observation." Rubber boots and other tools are available for rent for session participants and students.

Located on the heights of the Aikawa Oura area, Minshuku Takimoto overlooks the scenic site of Nanaura Coast. In this excellent, secluded location, you can have the beach (accessible from the inn on foot) almost to yourself. The area around the inn is ideal for boat riding and sea fishing, as well as, rocky shore exploration, and sea bathing in summer. Ogi Diving School is a clubhouse and home for divers, situated on an inlet with crystal clear water in Kotoura. It takes just 1 minute on foot to the ship departure point for diving sites. You can also go on an adventure in the mysterious caves in Kotoura. Please relax and unwind yourself at nearby onsen hot spring Ogi no Yu after a day of diving. Guests can have a great time together while eating dishes made from locally-sourced ingredients.

Shikishimaso serves all-natural seafood, varying from fish caught by the inn's fishing boat, to seafood sourced from Inakujira Fishing Port or Ryotsu Market. Shikishimaso is confident in the quality of the food they provide. Nature activities at the sea in front of the inn are popular among guests. Shikishimaso also has great access to tourist attractions such as Sado Kinzan Gold Mine and Senkakuwan Bay, just 20-30 minutes away. Sado Sotokaifu Youth Hostel is situated in front of Iwayaguchi Bus Stop. Magnificent mountains extending along a stream appear in the background, surrounding the area in natural beauty. Isaburo's Residence, known as the house with a unique eave decoration, has opened its doors to the public as an accommodation. The old house of a Sengokubune captain, built in 1892, it is now available for use with its interior in the original format. You can feel a sense of history everywhere in the building, with fan-shaped eave decorations, glossy, amber coloured flooring planks, sooked walls, and lacquered beams and cupboards. You'll enjoy exclusive use of the property during your stay. Isaburo's offers a bed-only package, but the building is fully equipped with a self-catering kitchen.

Sobama Seaside Villa are holiday cottages to rent dotted on Sobama Coast with a long sandy beach. All of 11 cottages has a sea view. Dining at an open terrace is popular among guests. You can shop groceries and snacks at shopping street in Ogi.
