Traveling with a lot of baggage? You can use these coin lockers to store your items while you travel around the island.


Locations

You can find lockers in the following locations:

·        Ryotsu Port Sado Kisen Terminal

·        Ogi Port Sado Kisen Terminal

·        Kirarium Sado Gold Mine Tourist Information Center


How to use the Lockers

1. Put the items you wish to store into an available locker

2. Make sure that you have everything you need on you, because if you want to access your locker to get something during storage, you will have to pay the locker fee again.

3. Insert the exact fee amount in 100 yen coins.

4. Turn the key and pull it out to activate the lock

5. When it comes to price, it's calculated by the day (from midnight to midnight). So if you leave your luggage in a locker overnight and get it back the next day, you will have to pay an additional day when you pick it up.

Lockers at Ryotsu Port, Sado Kisen Terminal

  • Ryotsu Port, Second Floor
    Types: 48 Small (40cm x 33cm x 57cm)
    Charge: 400 yen per day
    Storage Limit: Up to 3 days
    Access: The building is locked and these lockers are inaccessible daily from 22:40 – 4:00

  • Ryotsu Port, First Floor
    Types: 28 Small (40cm x 35cm x 57cm) , 2 Medium (55cm x 35cm x 57cm) , 10 Large (84cm x 35cm x 57cm), 21 Extra Large (114cm x 35cm x 57cm)
    Charge: Per day small 300 yen, medium 400 yen, large 500 yen, extra large 600 yen
    Storage Limit: Up to 3 days
    Access: 24 hours

Lockers at Ogi Port, Sado Kisen Terminal, Third Floor

Types: 5 Small (40cm x 35.5cm x 43cm) , 4 Large (80cm x 35.5cm x 48cm)

Charge: Per day small 300 yen, large 500 yen

Storage Limit: Up to 3 days

Access: Waiting room hours, 8:30 – 17:30

 

Lockers at Kirarium Sado Gold Mine Tourist Information Center

Types: 16 small (40cm x 35cm x 40cm ), 12 medium (53cm x 35cm x 45cm), 4 large (80cm x 35cm x 45cm)
Charge: 100 yen each
Storage Limit: One day only – no overnight storage
Access: 8:30-17:00

  • Small size and medium size lockers

  • Large size lockers

  • Store your belongings from 8:30-17:00 (No overnight storage).
