Onogame Lodge is conveniently close to the Onogame monolith. The menu options include classic dishes including set menus prepared from local ingredients, curry with rice, and noodles. Connected with Sado Kisen's Ogi Port Terminal, Ogiya is a shopping centre offering a great selection of Sado specialties. The selection includes sea products, traditional crafts and famous confectionery. The cafe/restaurant offers a wide variety of menu options, such as kamameshi (rice cooked in a pot) with fresh seafood and set meals. Their specialty menu is "kamameshi with squid". The sumptuous dish consists of "Toki to Kurasu Sato", special rice recognised by Sado City, which is cooked in special broth, and colourful toppings of seafood including squid, shrimp and scallops, plus bamboo shoots and shiitake mushrooms.

Located in the Kitazawa Floating Ore Dressing Plant, a historic site, the restaurant offers a spectacular view of the ore dressing plant as well as the 50-meter thickener. The restaurant offers Western-style cuisine, mainly featuring Sado Island Kurobuta pork, which is raised by Ryokan Urashima. We also offer drinks only, including original drinks supervised by Ryokan Urashima.

La Plage is a restaurant located in the East Wing of Ryokan Urashima. It serves authentic French cuisine prepared from meticulously selected local ingredients, such as fresh seafood and Sado's Berkshire black pork. Over "Koshino Matsubara" (a seashore with beautiful green pine trees), the vast expanse of Mano Bay spreads out in front of you. La Plage, as a leading restaurant in Sado, takes pride in its fascinating, beautifully presented dishes finished with rich, flavourful sauce and excellent, warm service.

Kato Restaurant is a long-established restaurant with a history of over sixty years. Situated at the heart of the Kanai area, Kato Restaurant offers a selection of menu options, from Chinese ramen noodles, curry with rice, donburi (a bowl of rice with toppings) to set meals and yoshoku (Japanese version of Western cuisine). The restaurant has been loved by locals with their established reputation . The best dishes include Tekiraisu, which is stir-fried pork finished with Worcestershire sauce and ketchup, and homemade Nukasanma (rice-bran marinated Pacific saury) with a flavourful pungency. They go very well with the Sado-grown Koshihikari rice.

Garage cafe RENNSPORT was opened to display cars by the car-mania owner. The cafe exhibits changing displays of cars varying from classic Porsche vehicles to Lotus cars, which indeed make a garage! The cafe menu has weekly spaghetti and sweet delights, which speak of the cook's joy. Organic fruit juice and chai tea also have a crowd-pleasing reputation.

Cuccina is located along Nakatsugawa Riva, close to the Kanaieki crossing. The menu offers a plethora of dishes including authentic pizza, pasta, paella, carpaccio, and so on. Every dish is prepared from plenty of local ingredients from Sado, guaranteed to draw out a "Buono!" from its customers. Offering lunch menus, reasonable set meals, party menus and a variety of original cuisine, Cuccina is loved by guests of all ages.

Sabo Yamashita is a hearty café in a renovated shed, with tables made from washtub-boats unique to the Ogi area, where they are used locally. Simply sweet zenzai (sweet red bean soup with mochi rice cake) and warabimochi (Japanese jelly-like confectionery) are perfect for a tea break during a stroll through Shukunegi.

Parlour Tsuruya is a restaurant which offers a myriad of menu items including set meals and curry. The ever-popular dish is "Meat Spaghetti" (a.k.a. "Nikusupa"). It is a Japanese-flavoured spaghetti dish made with pork and vegetables, but it also contains the rich, mouth-watering flavours of butter, soy sauce and cheese powder. "Nikusupa Rice Curry," which is a unique combination of Nikusupa and curry over rice, has developed a loyal following of big eaters.

Kisaragi Honten offers menu items filled with love for Sado's bounty. Try the Sado Set prepared with Sado-produced ingredients, or the turban shellfish curry that was once a favorite of island fishermen.

The restaurant "de Vinco" is directly run by Henjinmokko, which is known for its famous sausages. It offers European-style dishes centered around Italian cuisine at reasonable prices. Don't miss out on the pizza baked at a high temperature in a pizza oven, which is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, and pasta dishes served with scrupulously prepared sauce! The products of Henjinmokko are also served deliciously. The casual ambience with an open kitchen is also the reason for its popularity.

Taro is an exciting restaurant offering creative dishes. A hospitable master chef will welcome you and skillfully serves his delicious dishes. "Tofu (bean curd) Pizza" is especially popular for ladies. The menu has an impressive selection of mouth-watering dishes such as beer-battered deep-fried chicken, German potato salad in downtown style, and Taro's mapo tofu (hot and spicy bean curd). It confidently provides an ample selection of shochu (Japanese distilled spirits).

Family Restaurant Taigaa stands on the Minamisen bus route. The kitchen delivers a great variety of delights from burger steaks and a bowl of rice with breaded deep-fried pork cutlet to fried rice and Chinese ramen noodles. A popular man-pleasing menu item is "stamina-don", which is a bowl of rice with stir-fried garlic, Chinese chives and pork on top. Omuraisu (an omelette stuffed with fried rice) with its fluffy, soft eggs comes recommended for women and children. The restaurant is equipped with a stage and a drum set, so that you can enjoy live entertainment, too.

SEISUKE Next Door is the sister restaurant of the hidden-gem "Restaurant Seisuke" in Ryotsu. Chef Ozaki produces true excellence whilst keeping a loving eye on Sado. He has set his new stage on the seashore. He now runs the restaurant located within a complex facility standing on Sawata Bathing Beach. Ozaki offers French and Italian cuisine by cooking the delicious blessings from the sea and the mountains of Sado with culinary magic at reasonable prices only available in Sado. Linger over a brilliant breakfast served with special bread and coffee whilst enjoying the sea view. SEISUKE Next Door also provides its own, creative menu items prepared with distinctive ingredients only available in Sado, such as natural wines, cocktails made from wild fruit, Sado-grown chemical- and pesticide-free vegetables, fresh seafood (including oysters and fish caught in the surrounding sea), Sado Beef, and so on.

A long-established snack bar, Orphée reopened with added izakaya elements in 2007. While maintaining the intimate atmosphere perfect for karaoke and chatting, Orphée now offers an ample selection of dishes, too. The kitchen provides a variety of menu items, from grilled skewers, deep-fried dishes and steak to noodles and fried rice. As Orphée has both counter seats and a section floored with tatami mats, it is a perfect place to dine whether you are in a large group or a solo diner.

Ekibasha specialises in steak and burger steak. The American country-style interior enhances your dining experience. (A great alternate of wheat flour, rice powder inhibits a rise in blood sugar levels after meals.) Kinchan Honten also produces and sells processed products made using locally-sourced fruit. Opened over forty years ago in one corner of a shopping street, Snack Bar Noroma has gained popularity recently with its hand-made dishes by the master and hostess. The top menu item is undoubtedly the "Special Katsu Sando." It is a filling, signature sandwich made by topping slices of bread with sauce-soaked, thick pork cutlets. Moreover, dishes prepared with a little bit of extra care, including curry over rice, gyoza dumplings, croquettes and more, have achieved popularity among regulars.
