A private house from the Kaei era was relocated. It is a quiet inn quietly set against the backdrop of a mountain with a Buddha statue and a happy Jizo (guardian deity of children). What attracts repeat guests are the hearty meals prepared with local ingredients. On the premises is the studio of the owner of Hananoki, potter Tosei Watanabe. In 2008, Hananoki was awarded the "Worker of Local Production for Local Consumption" by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries of Japan; in 2008, it was listed in the French edition of Michelin; in 2023, it was awarded the "Niigata Local Gastronomy" prize; and in 2011, it was awarded the "Niigata Local Gastronomy" prize.

Kamomeso is situated in a lush, green area, where the chirpings of little birds delight your ears. Just one step in from the entrance, you will find a space like a modern art gallery. Kamomeso proudly provides hot spring baths with a continuous flow of hot spa waters, and dishes prepared with fresh seafood, landed at the local fishing port. Outdoor baths where you can enjoy the starry night sky is popular among guests. Conveniently located from Ogi Port, Kamomeso is ideal for travelers who want to enjoy seeing around Shukunegi and Rengebuji Temple.

A five-minute car ride from Ogi Port, Ogi-no-Yu is located on a hill with easy access to the town center. From the window facing the Sea of Japan, you can see the sun rise over the sea, right in front of your eyes. This inn, with its own hot spring spa, provides an opportunity to see the two ports of Ogi at the same time, a view that is only available here. One port is Uchinoma (the inside inlet), which flourished as a sengokubune (wooden freight ship) port of call when gold was being shipped in the Edo Period (1603-1867), and the other is Ogi Port, also called Sotonoma (the outside inlet). The hot spring has a pH of 9.54 (without dilution), with a high alkaline content. The texture enchants many people with its reputed skin-beautifying effects. Other attractions on the premises are a restaurant that serves fresh local produce, and lodgings with the warm atmosphere of wood.

Sobama Campground is located at Sobama Bathing Beach, where the sandy shore stretches for four kilometers. The beach hut here is the largest on Sado. Camping slots are available in two areas: along the main road and upland, each location equipped with toilets and showers. There are lodges adjacent to the campground, too. This campground is conveniently located just 10 minutes by car from Ogi Port and day-trip bathing facilities. The view of the sea reflecting the color of the setting sun, and the night sky full of stars are breathtaking scenes.

Minshuku Takayama is situated behind Shukunegi Post Office in the Takayama area of Shukunegi. Here, you can enjoy delicacies from the sea, such as turban shellfish and abalones, etc. which the master, who is a fisherman himself, catches in a traditional manner on a tub boat. Minshuku Takayama takes pride in hand-kneaded soba (buckwheat) noodles, and they enjoy immense popularity. Guests sometimes enjoy talking and drinking together gathered around the sunken hearth in the lounge. A bottle of Japanese sake (Hokusetsu Kinboshi), bearing Takayama's original label on its bottle, is a perfect souvenir.

Fusubemura is a hands-on learning centre located in Kodomari, with an accommodation available on-site. One cottage contains a dining room, living room and bedrooms for five people, and this is perfect for families and groups of friends. While staying in the spacious centre, you can enjoy making your original pieces of work in workshops including classes for pottery, rag-weaving, bamboo craft, etc. The surrounding natural environment such as Sobama Bathing Beach is also fascinating.

Sunrise Jogahama is an inn located in Akadomari, in the refreshing environment of southeast Sado, that offers hands-on experiences. As the name suggests, you can see the sun rising above the horizon from guest rooms. In front of the inn lies Jogahama Bathing Beach and behind it are mountains abundant in nature, making Sunrise Jogahama ideal for school trips and training camps as well as ordinary stays and banquets. Isaburo's Residence, known as the house with a unique eave decoration, has opened its doors to the public as an accommodation. The old house of a Sengokubune captain, built in 1892, it is now available for use with its interior in the original format. You can feel a sense of history everywhere in the building, with fan-shaped eave decorations, glossy, amber coloured flooring planks, sooked walls, and lacquered beams and cupboards. You'll enjoy exclusive use of the property during your stay. Isaburo's offers a bed-only package, but the building is fully equipped with a self-catering kitchen.

Sobama Seaside Villa are holiday cottages to rent dotted on Sobama Coast with a long sandy beach. All of 11 cottages has a sea view. Dining at an open terrace is popular among guests. You can shop groceries and snacks at shopping street in Ogi. Optional DIY barbecue catering, assorted sashimi, and rental beer server service, all of which are available upon reservation, has good reputation. The setting sun seen from the swimming pool or jacuzzi will stay memorable.

Guests can have a great time together while eating dishes made from locally-sourced ingredients.
