Hotel Shiiya
Founded in 1912, Hotel Shiiya is the longest-established hotel in Ryotsu, which is nestled at the side of Lake Kamo. The entrance has a large, red parasol, used for outdoor tea ceremony, that evokes a traditional Japanese atmosphere. Flower arrangements dotted around the hotel, among other small touches, offer a sense of hospitality. Generous hospitality is also present in the meal service, which showcases the tastes of Sado with fresh seafood and fruit, among others. An elegant, seven-story building comes into sight through a pine forest. Ryoso Minato takes pride in its sea front location, and meals packed full of seafood caught with bag-shaped nets and caught at Takachi Fishing Port. Nyuzaki Beach is located at a 5-minute walk from the inn, where you can enjoy camping and barbecue. Isaburo, an inn for one guest (group of guests) per stay
Isaburo's Residence, known as the house with a unique eave decoration, has opened its doors to the public as an accommodation. The old house of a Sengokubune captain, built in 1892, it is now available for use with its interior in the original format. You can feel a sense of history everywhere in the building, with fan-shaped eave decorations, glossy, amber coloured flooring planks, sooked walls, and lacquered beams and cupboards. You'll enjoy exclusive use of the property during your stay. Isaburo's offers a bed-only package, but the building is fully equipped with a self-catering kitchen.

Kanecho Ryokan
A ryokan in the Sawada area that has been in business for about 100 years. It is close to Sawada Beach, which can be seen from the rooms, and can be reached in swimsuits. Currently, the ryokan is open only for overnight stays with no meals. For this reason, the inn has stopped serving home-cooked meals and introduces guests to nearby restaurants such as kappo restaurants that use local ingredients in abundance. Another attraction is the beautiful sunset.

The location is perfect for those who wish to explore Sado, as well as those who wish to take part in events such as the Sado's Ironman/woman Triathlon or the Sado Long Ride.

Minshuku Ohana
Minshuku Ohana's specialty menu is okonomiyaki (Japanese as-you-like-it savory pancakes) made with Sado's seafood, and cooked by the Osaka-born Okami (female manager). The previous master of the inn was a puppeteer of Noroma Puppets and operated a doll named "Ohana." Upon reservation, and for an additional fee, guests can enjoy a performance by a local puppet theatre group. Situated along the Minami (south) Line bus route and located close to Niibo Dam and Toki Forest Park, Minshuku Ohana is a homey inn with a great location.
