Perched on elevated ground 100 meters from the coastline, Kyukamura Sado Caravan Site is located on Seki Cape, with the azure Sea of Japan in front and the Osado Mountain Range in back. The Seki community, down the road from the campsite, is one of the entrances for the trekking route through the pristine forest known for its ancient cedars. This campsite guarantees a stunning view of the great landscape of Sotokaifu: the sun setting over the Sea of Japan, the fires lit on the boats to lure fish at night, and the starry night skies.

Sado Sotokaifu Youth Hostel is situated in front of Iwayaguchi Bus Stop. Magnificent mountains extending along a stream appear in the background, surrounding the area in natural beauty. The beauty of the starry night sky is brilliant. You will be welcomed by Okami, an expert on life in Iwayaguchi, with warm hospitality; including, among other things, dishes made with local ingredients and a bath with home-made herbs. Please, refresh your spirit with pleasant conversation around a sunken hearth, while viewing the sea at dusk.

The perfect base for a walking tour, Sashu Oyarikan was established after repairing a historical accommodation named Sashukan, where celebrities, like famous writers, once stayed. Oyari means "take it easy" in the Aikawa dialect. Sashu Oyarikan has a lounge, exhibition rooms and public restrooms on the first floor, so please feel free to visit us. The second floor is designed for simple lodging for students (18-years-old and up) and is available for training camps, study trips and seminars.

Ryokan Iriumi is located by the seashore in Kubota and is surrounded by the sound of waves of Mano Bay. The majority of the spacious guestrooms have a sea view. Run by a master fisherman, the inn owns a fixed fishing net, and the seafood they serve is exceptionally fresh. The meals which maximizes the unique flavours of Sado has established reputation, and their specialty menu is okoze (stonefish) dishes. White flesh with simple, light flavour is served deep-fried and as sashimi. The ginger-coloured hot spa water will warm you up from inside and ease your fatigue.

Newly built by Bakery and Café Shimafumi, Seaside House offers accommodations for one group per night. The cottage has lots of space (total floor area of 80㎡ or approx. 860 sq ft), so it's perfect for families and groups, as well as workations. Seikaiso (literally quiet sea inn) faces the Mano Bay renowned for its beauty at twilight. The shoaling Nagaishi beach is just a 1-minute walk from the inn. You will be treated with warm hospitality and the attentiveness of the owner and his wife, who are the seventh generation of owners. You will feast on wholeheartedly prepared dishes, and relax in guestrooms designed in a retro style. The Noh stage in the large banquet room and the Noh play masks kept carefully are legacies of Seizaemon Yamamoto, owner of the inn two generations back, who was adored as a Noh teacher. Seikaiso has a distinctive atmosphere, which expresses the culture and history of the town where ancient relics can be found in various locations.

Senkakuso is a long-established inn with over 60 years of history, perched on a scenic hill. The dishes served reflect a meticulous attitude towards fish, locally caught in the Sotokaifu area, and allow you to feast on a variety of seasonal seafoods. Senkakuso is ideally located within walking distance of great fishing spots and the Tassha Coast. Loved by celebrities, including Dr Reischauer, an American intellectual, Senkakuso was named by Kazuo Kikuta, who wrote a famous book Kimi no Na Wa (What is Your Name?). The atmospheric furniture also evokes a sense of history.

Shiozu no Sato stands on open ground in the heights overlooking Mano Bay. It has a spacious front garden where you can enjoy camping or a barbecue, and is ideal for school trips, sports training camps, and other excursions. In addition, Shiozu no Sato offers opportunities for a variety of activities on the themes of food and marine leisure, including noroma puppet painting, and stonework, among others. A base for exploration in Sado or relaxation, Shiozu no Sato is accommodation offering hands-on experiences, suitable for a variety of purposes.

Sobama Campground is located at Sobama Bathing Beach, where the sandy shore stretches for four kilometers. The beach hut here is the largest on Sado. Camping slots are available in two areas: along the main road and upland, each location equipped with toilets and showers. There are lodges adjacent to the campground, too. This campground is conveniently located just 10 minutes by car from Ogi Port and day-trip bathing facilities. The view of the sea reflecting the color of the setting sun, and the night sky full of stars are breathtaking scenes.

Magoshiro is a cottage-style lodge located within a designated important preservation area for traditional buildings and architecture. The building has wooden walls and a historical atmosphere, with the living room built using a traditional Japanese house style. You can relax and unwind as you drink and chat with your friends or family around the Japanese style hearth. The inn has three Japanese-style rooms and a cellar converted into a special room, which offers a unique atmosphere and is available for group use. Magoshiro only provides packages without meals, but delivery service is available from neighbourhood restaurants. The building is equipped with a self-catering kitchen.

Sunrise Jogahama is an inn located in Akadomari, in the refreshing environment of southeast Sado, that offers hands-on experiences. As the name suggests, you can see the sun rising above the horizon from guest rooms. In front of the inn lies Jogahama Bathing Beach and behind it are mountains abundant in nature, making Sunrise Jogahama ideal for school trips and training camps as well as ordinary stays and banquets. Aokiya stands at the top of the hill overlooking Lake Kamo, and all guestrooms have a sea view. Toki Koryu Kaikan is a facility with lodging rooms established to promote the "Island Development for Both People and Toki" initiative. With forests behind, Toki Koryu Kaikan provides training programmes to learn about the preservation of farming landscapes near mountains. It can also cater to the demands of volunteer groups and school trips, and offers study sessions such as "A Lecture on Toki" and "Biotope-Making and Small Wildlife Creatures Observation." Rubber boots and other tools are available for rent for session participants and students.

The East Building, designed by Hiroshi Naito, one of Japan's leading architects, stands in perfect harmony with the nature of Sado. Similar in its creation by a prominent architect in Japan, Koh Kitayama, the South Building has a modern design, with the building enveloped in glass. This renowned hotel, with two very different atmospheres, is also known for its excellent dining, which utilizes fresh Sado ingredients in deluxe Japanese and French cuisines.
